Hello! I hope you are all having a great week. Is everyone ready for Thanksgiving? I got a lot done ahead of time, so I am expecting it to be a nice relaxing day.

Before it gets really cold out, I thought I would share with you my favorite Hot Chocolate recipe of all time!


This rich creamy Hot Chocolate is the perfect treat during the cold winter months. I love having it ready for the kids when they come back in from playing in the snow, or making a batch for me and my hubby to sip while watching a movie.

Slow Cooker Hot Chocolate

4 oz unsweetened chopped baking chocolate

1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated)

1 cup of semisweet chocolate chips

8 cups milk

1.5 cups whipping cream

1 tablespoon vanilla

1. Spray the slow cooker with cooking spray and mix in unsweetened chocolate, chocolate chips, and condensed milk. Cover and cook on high for 30 minutes, mixing half way through

2. Using a wire whisk, slowly stir in 2 cups of milk and the whipping cream until smooth. Slowly mix in the remaining 6 cups of milk and vanilla. Cover and cook on high for 2 hours

Since we are in the holiday season, I could not resist adding whip cream, candy sprinkles, and a candy cane to our Hot Chocolate. In the past, I have used other stir ins such as M&M, nuts, marshmallows and cinnamon. What is your favorite stir in?
