I finally got some time to start setting up my new Filofax. Before I rip it apart, and personalize it, I thought I would share with you what it looks like right out of the box.
Tada, meet the FiloFax Original A5-Patent Purple. So pretty and the genuine leather smells so good. It does have a shiny finish so it picks up fingerprints, and dust fairly easy. However, it cleans up very nicely with a soft cloth, so it’s not an issue for me. It has a snap closure, and 6-1 inch binder rings. There is more than enough room to stuff away!!
On the inside cover there is a full sized vertical pocket. The pocket has the FiloFax logo embossed on it, an elastic band attached, and two credit card slots. The band has two pens loops, one on each side, and it lifts up so you can slip notes, paper, calculator, etc in it.
On the opposite side is a transparent flyleaf (dashboard), and six dividers.
The diary is the week on two pages, and what I would call a column style diary. It has the times written in starting with 8am and ending with 8pm.
The back of the FiloFax has a removable frosted ruler/page marker, and a zip lock pencil case. There is also a second full size vertical pocket, with a note pad that slips into the top slot.
So far I am enjoying this style FiloFax, and as soon as I finish setting it up I will share it with you all. If you are not familiar with this style of planning you can read more about it in detail here “Saying Yes To The FiloFax”. The Filofax Original is available here.
Do you Filo? What is your favorite style planner?
