Happy Friday Day Dreamers. Is everyone staying warm? We got an additional 12+ inches of snow during the week, and it has been so cold here. I desperately need Spring to get here soon. I have been busy setting up my new Filofax, and am loving it more and more as I personalize it. Once it’s all finished you will be the first to see it. In the meantime, here is week 6

In my last Filofax post, I talked about how the column style diary pages do not work for me, so the first thing I did was switch them out for the Filofax block style diary pages. They are working fine, but I am considering creating my own diary page printables, so that I can make a few personal adjustments

Since Valentines Day is right around the corner, I chose a love theme for this week. I used some washi tape, and die cuts to decorate the pages.

I have been doing a bit of smashing and journaling on my weekly pages, and am really enjoying it. I also decided to color a stamp or two each week and smash them in the Filofax. I find it takes the pressure out of having to make a card or come up with a finished product, and I can focus more on my coloring technique. I am also writing in the copic colors used on the image, to use as a reference for future coloring. So far it has come in really handy. I smashed in a journaling card and placed a picture of DH and DD on it. I did not want the image or journaling card to take up writing space, so instead of gluing them down, I used my Crop-A-Dial to punch the holes and put them on the rings.
