Hello planner lovers. How is everyone’s week going? Things have quieted down here, and I finally had some time to catch up on things that did not get done when we were all sick. Managing everything, with all of us sick at the same time, sure was a challenge. Slowly but surely order is being restored.

As promised, today I am sharing my Filofax Decorating for week 20. This week I went back to using a Scrapbook Kit. As soon as I saw this kit, I loved it, and knew it would be perfect for my filofax. It includes patterned scrapbook paper, stickers (1 alphabet sheet and 1 image sheet), and journaling cards. I think it just might be one of my favorite kits ever.

I was sold on the Everyday Eclectic Scrapbooking Kit  as soon as I saw the hot air balloons, they are my favorite. I also love the summer theme. I had wanted to switch out my Filofax Dividers, and this scrapbooking paper is perfect for this time of year. I love changing around my Filofax to reflect each season, it helps keep me in the spirit. I will share my new Filofax dividers with you next week and include a DIY Filofax divider tutorial. I found a great tool that makes creating your own Filofax dividers so simple, you are going to love it!

filofaxdecoratingweek20I am sure you can tell by looking at my week 20, I fell into the “I love it so much and don’t want to use it” trap. Yikes! Why do we do that? Buy something we love and then are afraid to use it. I worked up the courage and really went to town with the kit in my Filofax week 22 pages.

For this week I used a few of the stickers, and added a journaling card. I also cut a sheet of the scrapbooking paper down using my paper trimmer, and then used a Martha Stewart –Scallop dot border punch to add the decorative edge. I used some of the Martha Stewart Dew Drops, and also added a bit of washi tape.  I love the journaling card with the swings! It reminds me of visits to the State fair during the  Summer.

After having some time to play with the Echo Park Scrapbooking kit, I decided to purchase an additional sticker sheet, which is sold separately. I have a lot of photos from our vacations to the New Jersey Shore, before hurricane Sandy destroyed it, that I want to do Project Life Layouts with, and this kit works perfectly with those photos. I know I am going to use a lot the the stickers, so I needed extra for sure.

I hope you enjoyed this week’s Fiofax inspiration. What do you think of my week 20? Do you have weeks when you keep your pages on the simpler side, or do you always go to town with your embellishments?
