Summer is here. And so is the heat. As a matter of fact, it’s 91 degrees in NY today. Hot and humid!
During these hot summer months, my family and I love frozen treats to beat the heat! I am partial to ice cream, and my kids and husband love ice pops. Below are some of our favorite, go to, clean eating frozen treats. They are all packed with nutritious ingredients, while still being delicious, and satisfying. Most of them take under 15 minutes to make and require just a few ingredients. No ice cream maker, or food processor required either. All you will need for most of these frozen treats is a blender, and for the ice pops, popsicle molds.
I use the Ninja Professional Blender, and love it. The Ninja is a powerful food processor, blender, and shake maker all in one. Since it has different settings, I never have a problem getting the consistency right. It certainly gets the job done!
For the ice pops I use these Ozera Repeated Use Popsicle Molds. The molds are very sturdy, and when removing the ice pops they do not stick. They are also drip free, and dishwasher safe!
