Good morning. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. We were lucky enough to wake up to some snow on the ground. It was all melted by noon, so we had a white Christmas morning.
Over the summer, I started playing with mixed media. For those of you who may not know what mixed media is the dictionary defines it as a technique involving the use of two or more artistic media,
such as ink and pastel or painting and collage, that are combined in a
single composition. Mixed media is so much fun! I encourage everyone to give it a try. Here is the tag I made
Dilly Bean Stamps. I colored her with my Prisma Colored Pencils. I used stamps by Tim Holtz, paint, gelatos, Lindy's Stamp Gang spray, and modeling paste to create my background on the tag. The Dream, Wish, Love is from the Stuff To Say stamp set by Tim Holtz. It comes in one piece, so after I stamped it, I cut it apart so that I could arrange it how I wanted it on the tag. I tied some fibers, shabby crinkle ribbon, and a charm to the top of the tag to finish it off.
Thank you for stopping by today!
